Oldsmar Cares
 "Serve One Another in Love"

Food, Clothing, Rent and Utilities Assistance for Our Neighbors
What We Do

We are proud that the many volunteers in the community make it possible for Oldsmar Cares to give 100% of every donation to families in need in our community. We have been serving the greater-Oldsmar area through our food pantry, clothes closet and rent/utilities assistance since 1997, and both the number we serve and the number in need has grown each year.

Some highlights of our efforts:

  • Oldsmar Cares has responded to nearly 1500 requests for assistance in the past year.

  • Oldsmar Cares is a 100% volunteer organization. Countless volunteers assist in our food pantry, clothes closet, and at many events throughout the year.

  • Oldsmar Cares's first Wine & Food Gala brought together more than 350 caring community members in support of our efforts, raising $30,550 for resident services.

  • Oldsmar Cares has widespread community support including the City of Oldsmar, the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, the Oldsmar Public Library, Neighborhood Family Center, Tampa Bay Harvest, Rotary Clubs of Oldsmar and East Lake, Oldsmar Woman's Club, Boy Scout Troop 64, Cub Scout Troop 64, Forest Lakes Elementary and Oldsmar Elementary.

  • Oldsmar Cares has ongoing support from area businesses including Publix Boot Ranch, Best Buy, Republic Services, Nielsen, TECO, 7-11 Tampa Road, The St. Petersburg Times, StellarNet, Inc.

  • Oldsmar Cares receives private and public funding, all of which supports our programs.
