OUR History

1997 - Sharon Patch creates Oldsmar Cares created to meet the needs of Oldsmar residents for rent and utility assistance

1998 - A small food pantry is added to the Oldsmar Cares mission.

2002 -A clothing closet is added with men's, women's and children gently used clothing and footwear.

2009 - Oldsmar Cares sees the growing need and incorporates as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

2011 -Oldsmar Cares 1st Annual Wine & Food Gala at East Lake Woodland Country Club and raises $30,550.

2015 - Oldsmar Cares 2nd Annual Golf Tournament announces presenting sponsor MicroLumen, and raises $25,000 for Weekend Food Fore Kids program.

2016 -​Oldsmar Cares 6th Annual Wine & Food Gala at Nielsen Ballroom and raises $70,000.
