There to dazzle the taste buds of this year’s Gala guests, the area’s best restaurants will be providing scrumptious cuisine and refreshing libations. This year’s gala kitchens include Amici’s Catered Cuisine, Baystar Restaurant Group, Casa Cosenza, Cracker Barrel, Cuban Foodies, Ed’s Fine Wine, Erdinger Weissbräu, Eve's Family Restaurant, Hot Tuna Sushi Bar & Grill, Jack Willie's Bar, Grill & Tiki, Mother’s, Mystic Fish, Smallcakes and Tampa Bay Brewing Company.  Attendees not only drink and dine on the best local gastronomy, they also serve as judges for the coveted annual “Best Of” awards. Last year Casa Cosenza won “Best Presentation” and Mother’s won “Best Taste” and “Best Overall.”

Annual attendees rave about the superior auction items, beautiful themed decor, and excellent cuisine and of course, the superb wine, beers and hand-crafted cocktails. “During the planning stages each year we have coined the phrase ‘Best Gala Ever!’ as our get-psyched battle cry. We take this event very seriously and look for ways to make it more interesting and fun for our guests,” said Michelle Baldwin, Gala co-chair.

About Oldsmar Cares: Oldsmar Cares is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer led organization providing stop-gap financial assistance, food and clothing – all at no cost – to those in need in the greater Oldsmar area. The Oldsmar Cares Wine & Food Gala is the organizations largest fundraising event, raising over $100,000 last year to provide the funding foundation for the organizations programs including Education Grants, Weekend Food for Kids, Oldsmar Works, Patchwork Assistance Fund and Holiday Food Programs. Oldsmar, FL, December 31, 2018 – Oldsmar Care’s yearly Gala is going tropical this year. Join Oldsmar Cares for their 9th Annual Wine and Food Gala on Thursday, February 7, 2019, from 6 to 9:30 pm at the Nielsen Ballroom (1 Nielsen Way, Oldsmar). This year’s theme is “One Love, One Heart” and will feature plenty tropical entertainment, live/silent auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and delectable dishes from eleven area restaurants as well as all the beer and wine we can pour!

The Oldsmar Cares annual Gala is always a sold out of event and this year’s gala buzz has already translated into strong ticket sales, with proceeds, as always, benefiting our local community.
